Westerville, OH—The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) will elevate 13 members to Fellow Status this year. The Fellow designation recognizes ACerS members who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the ceramic arts or sciences, broad and productive scholarship in ceramic science and technology, conspicuous achievement in ceramic industry, or by outstanding service to the Society.

“The 2024 class of Fellows of the American Ceramic Society represents a diverse group of 13 international scientific and technological leaders and volunteers. They have contributed at the highest level to enrich and broaden ceramic science, technology and industry, and to serve our Society. I am honored to congratulate the 2024 class of ACerS Fellows for their outstanding contributions to our field and Society,” says Rajendra Bordia, ACerS president.

The awards will be presented at the Society’s Annual Honor and Awards banquet, Oct. 7, 2024, during the ACerS Annual Meeting held at the Materials Science and Technology Conference, October 6–9 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
